Hope 7's after-school program is open to all Kindergarten through 8th-grade youth. Students from Troy City School District, Troy Prep, and Albany charter schools are welcome to participate in our program. We are licensed by the New York State Office of Child and Family Services, with a highly experienced, educated, and trained staff on our team.

During our after-school program, children receive a healthy snack meeting the requirements set forth by CACFP guidelines, supervised homework sessions and tutoring, and opportunities for arts and crafts and physical education, all designed based on the children's developmental capabilities and interests. Students can also participate freely in extra-curricular activities such as Junior Forest Rangers, piano lessons, nutrition club, and science presentations.

We base our program hours on the Troy City School District calendar. For regular school days and early dismissals, we are open from dismissal to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. On vacation days, we are open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Snow days may vary depending on the weather conditions.

Hope 7 is closed on Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, and the 4th of July. We close early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve at 3:00 pm.
